Abstract

The studies were carried out on long-lived people living in the Lankaran region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The results of the monitoring showed that pathological and involutional changes caused by strong adaptive-compensatory and genetic factors in long-lived people didn't lead to death. This was reflected in the regulation of both blood pressure and heart rate. Cardiovascular changes associated with aging are the main indicator of gradual physiological aging and preservation of the functional resources and adaptive capacities of the cardiovascular system, which are recorded in 30% of long-lived people. Close relatives of long-livers have a hereditary factor that is brighter since they have the same relative adaptive capacity compared to the control group, despite the fact that they live in the same ecologically clean environment.
